Scouting happens locally!
At the heart of Scouting are our local volunteer leaders and commissioners. These are the people who lead Cub Scout Dens, volunteer as Boy Scout merit badge counselors and work directly with our youth. Many more volunteers support them in crucial roles helping to organize our Units. Each unit is chartered to another area organization committed to helping our youth. Many churches and service organizations make Scouting possible by chartering each and every unit.
From this page, you can visit the websites of some of the units in the Fox River District by clicking on their name.

Two other districts join the Fox River District in making up SEWISBSA. East of I-94 in Kenosha County is the Gateway District. East of I-94 in Racine County is the Lighthouse District.

In the fall of 2011, Southeast and Milwaukee Councils will merge. This should be a tremendous opportunity for both councils to continue to grow even stronger.

Milwaukee is divided into 5 districts: Polaris, Iron Horse, Heart of Milwaukee, Root River and Southshore.

Geographically, our council is very small, yet we are very strong in numbers! Because of this excellent location, we are fortunate to be surrounded by several other very excellent councils that also help support Scouting. In the spirit of brotherhood, we link to them here.
