Microsoft Word - Rock the Pack Flyer.docDue to a major redesign of the Potawatomi Council Website, the links to the flyers, course descriptions and registration were all broken earlier this week. I’ve now fixed them in the Events area.  Its always a hard decision to choose if you want to link to someone else’s information, or repost it. When you link, it gives the author the opportunity to update, change and revise the content as well as retain control and ownership over it. If I repost the flyers, we don’t get broken weblinks. Anyhow…

A Pow Wow is an amazing training event for Cub Scout leaders, filled with fun courses and great ideas that you can immediately bring right back home and use with your Scouts. There are courses in run-ons and skits, cooking over an open fire, and helping your Scouts to advance, learn and become true leaders of our community. Since SEWIS doesn’t host our own Pow-Wow, we strongly encourage our leaders to take advantage of this opportunity.

This year’s theme is “Rock the Pack!”

Attending Pow-Wow (or 5 Star University, or Lord Baden Powell University) meets the training requirement for most leader knots that say you must attend 4 roundtables, or a Pow-Wow or University of Scouting.
