Each March, the MJS Sports Show takes over the Wisconsin Exposition Center at State Fair Park in West Allis.

At the Sports Show you’ll find fishing, boating, camping, shooting and much more. Kids can shoot an air rifle with the Daniel Boone Conservation League, or practice archery at the indoor range set up. Paintball Daves sets up a paintball target range, while the lumberjacks have their own wet stage in which they show off their balancing skills. A huge trout pond gives you the opportunity to be ignored by the fish, while dozens of pontoon and fishing boats offer you a place to sit down and dream of warmer weather. There are lots of demonstrations from tying flies to training dogs. You can research camping destinations all over the Midwest, and even as far away as Canada for your Troop if you would like!

Children under 12 (Cubs) are always free, but on Thursday March 11 all Scouts in uniform are free as well, including one leader per group. Make sure you pre-register to get the Scout deal though! If you can’t go on Thursday, you can buy tickets online to still get the $6.50 deal for any day of the show.
