9:00 AM to after 4:00 PM Mass Camp Rokilio, Kiel, WI
Deadline to register: Friday, March 23

The Catholic Committee on Scouting will host a one-day retreat for Catholic youth in Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts (grades 5 – 12) on Saturday, March 31st starting with registration at 9:00 AM at Camp Rokilio. Adult leaders and parents are also encouraged to attend. The retreat will conclude with the group taking part in worship at 4:00 PM Mass with Green Bay Diocese Vocations Director Fr. Dan Schuster at the Rokilio chapel. Reconciliation will be available before Mass.

There will be a number of fun and “faith lifting” activities as well as sharing of dialogue and fellowship with other Scouts. Participation in the retreat will count as part of the requirements for those boys working on their Ad Altare Dei emblem. We will also introduce the rare Rosary patch series.

Additionally, the retreat will introduce the requirements for earning the International Awareness Award. The International Catholic Conference of Scouting, a world-wide organization, offers a Pin and Patch Activity Recognition for Cub Scouts, and a Medallion and Patch Activity Recognition for Boy Scouts, Venturers, and Scouters. These pins, patches, and medallions are offered to any Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Venturer, or Scouter in recognition for increased awareness of Scouting in the Catholic Church throughout the world.

COST: $10.00 per participant – includes lunch, program materials, and patch
