Robotics Merit Badge

The Robotics Merit Badge is one of the HOTTEST merit badges the BSA has right now! And it’s not as hard as you might think to earn…

As the Boy Scouts of America put a lot of resources into developing STEM programs like NOVA, they’re offering some of the coolest supporting materials to make that happen. In fact locally, FIRST Lego League teams are forming now in area Rec Departments, 4H Clubs and even Boy Scout Troops! (Yep! There are several all-Scout Boy and Girl Scout teams here in SE Wisconsin!)

If you’re interested in learning more about earning the Robotics Merit Badge, the NOVA Award, or just learning some really awesome-cool things about Robotics start by checking out the Boy’s Life page that the BSA has designated as the official Robotics Merit Badge home page. You can also check out a really cool competition happening while you visit the Wisconsin State Fair on August 6th, 7th or 8th! Attending a competition is one of the requirements for earning the Merit Badge!

    My son will be attending Train Your Dragon event on Thursday 25th of October.
    I want him to earn his merit badge, however I’m not finding any information on this badge, and how to sign up for it. I was directed to go to this website, and not sure where to go from here. I am hoping you can help.
