CERT Training

Our Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) class is scheduled for Thursday Oct 24th & Friday Oct 25th (8am-4 pm) and Saturday Oct 26th (8 am-12 pm). This is a popular training course where youth learn search and rescue techniques, how to use a fire extinguisher, triage and basic first aid.

The course culminates in a mini disaster exercise where the youth will actually participate in the drill. This is great training for both Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. Boy Scouts will get a head start on their emergency preparedness merit badge, along with the Emergency BSA award.

There is no charge to attend, but pre-registration is necessary.

The class is only open to Racine County residents.
