Phil Packer is a former British Provost Office who suffered severe spinal cord injuries while on active duty in Iraq, February 2008. Doctors told him that he would never walk again, yet through determination and spirit he walked the London Marathon in 2009, finishing nearly two weeks after he started.

Today, Packer serves as a Scout Ambassador for the UK Scout Association.

In this short interview with Scout Radio, Packer tells why he wears his uniform and badges with pride.
